FAQ

Private Health Insurance Rebates

Private health insurance rebates are available under Group Physiotherapy or Class Physiotherapy codes for all of our classes except Yoga.

Weekly Memberships

All weekly memberships have a 3month minimum term lock-in period, except Youth Clinical S&C memberships which have a 6-week or 12-week minimum lock in.

The minimum term lock-in period is a fixed term and does not allow for suspensions or terminations within it’s time period, unless approval is granted before commencement.

After the minimum lock-in period, the membership may be canceled or suspended at any time by the client, in accordance with our suspension and termination terms.

Memberships will continue beyond the minimum lock-in period with a weekly direct debit unless DRPhysio is notified of a termination request in writing (see Termination Policy below).

You may apply to DRPhysio in writing for one suspension (of no less than 2 weeks and no more than 4 weeks) of your fixed term membership prior to commencement of the membership. Once you have commenced your Fixed term membership there are no suspensions or terminations.

Rest Period

All memberships will be suspended for a two week ‘rest’ period over Christmas/New Year and you will not be charged during this time. An alternative timetable will be announced and separate membership or passes can be purchases to access classes during this ‘rest’ period.

Non-Redeemable

Weekly memberships are not redeemable for any Physiotherapy Treatments, Massage/Myotherapy sessions, Individual Sessions or other Clinical sessions.

Casual passes have a 1 month expiry.

5 Packs have a 6 week expiry.

10 Packs have 3 month expiry.

20 Packs have 6 month expiry.

GLA:D Packs have a 6 week expiry.

2 Week Introductory Offer Membership Terms

Introductory memberships are available once to new customers or new services to the DRPhysio studio and are valid for a period of 2 weeks from the date that the first class is booked or attended.

Once an Introductory Membership ends, you will need to select a membership option or purchase classes individually or in packs to continue use of the studio.

Introductory members may attend an unlimited number of classes for their chosen membership, excluding any Physiotherapy Treatments, Massage/Myotherapy sessions, Individual Sessions and Clinical Pilates.

All bookings are subject to DRPhysio’s Cancellation Policy. DRPhysio reserves the right to terminate the membership of any client that late-cancels or does not attend more than two classes during their 2 Week Introductory period.

2 Week Introductory Memberships are not able to be suspended, and are non-refundable once commenced.

Weekly Membership Payment

All Memberships operate on a weekly direct debit from your stored credit card in Mindbody (a secure system). Payment will continue unless notified (see Termination Policy below).

The 2 Week Introductory Offer and the Opening Special – 3mth Unlimited Yoga Membership are one off payments that can be made online or in the studio.

Membership Suspension

You must provide DRPhysio with at least 2 weeks written notice of desire to suspend your membership. This ensures that the correct measures are put in place to cease credit card or direct debit payments planned for the period you are away.

Suspension is granted for no less than 2 weeks at a time and for a maximum of four weeks per calendar year. Please email requests to info@drphysio.com.au.

Our policy is that we do not allow for Membership Suspensions within the minimum minimum term lock-in period. However, if you do require a Membership Suspension during this time, and a request is made prior to commencing your membership, approval may be granted. In this case any suspended timeframe does not count towards the minimum lock in period of 3 months.

Cancellation Policy

24 hours notice must be given for cancellation of all classes, otherwise the class will be forfeited to the full value of the class. Clients can use their individual MindBody login to book themselves in or change their class bookings before the 24 hour window.

Membership Termination

After the minimum 3 month lock-in period, you must provide Drphysio with at least 2 weeks written notice to terminate your membership. Weekly payments due to be debited within those two weeks will be processed. Please email request to info@drphysio.com.au.

Membership Termination by DRPhysio

DRPhysio may terminate your membership without notice for inappropriate, offensive or illegal behaviour, as determined by us, which occurs on our premises or is directed at our staff or other clients & members.

Additionally, you may terminate your membership if you become affected by a long term or permanent injury or illness that will prevent you from using our services.

Termination will take effect from the date we receive written confirmation from a medical doctor that your injury or illness will exceed a period of 4 weeks.

A Drphysio Physiotherapist may also allow you to terminate or suspend your membership due to injury after a Physiotherapy consultation

Termination of contracts before their completion without meeting the above criteria must be paid in full.
