1:4 Clinical Exercises classes with equipment
New participants are required to undergo a 1:1 Clinical Exercise Initial Assessment with a physiotherapist. Some participants may need additional 1:1 training for safety before going into a 1:4 group sessions. This ensures that the program can best be tailored to a persons needs and supervised for correct technique and control in order to subsequently progress their program into a small group environment.
You can then choose one, two or three 1:4 group classes to attend per week. We recommend two as a starting point to achieve good physical outcomes. Bookings are made in advance for 8 or 16 classes with our class packages. Casual attendance depends on availability of spots.
The equipment used in these sessions includes Clinical Pilates reformers and trapeze, weights & various balance and strengthening apparatus.
Independent Pilates Equipment Passes – work at your own pace, when you want!
Our second Pilates studio is open for extended hours for independent use of the equipment for all of our Pilatesand Clinical Exercise participants, as long as the participant is deemed safe to perform their program independently by one of our physiotherapists. Generally this will be after completing at least the 8 or 16 classes of a Clinical Exercise 1:4 class package. You will be required to attend a 1:1 program review if you are not concurrently attending 1:1 or 1:4 sessions, so that we can make sure you are getting the most out of your program. Spots are limited so bookings are required.
If you have attended our formerly named Clinical Pilates program in the past or with another provider then you may be able to fast track into the Independent program with a program review but this is determined on a case by case basis due to safety reasons.
